The Jade Mattress is part of the Bonnell Collection; a group of mattresses that have been traditionally made for a traditional feel. The Finley contains a 12.5g bonnell spring layer for supreme support, coated by layers of multiple fillings such as classic foam layers and polyester for a firmer feel. It's a two sided, micro-quilted mattress with a soft knit top and an upholstered, side stitch effect border. It's great for those who require a little extra orthopaedic support and has handles on the border for easy turning when required.

Some of the qualities of this mattress include:
• Open Coil: An open coil mattress has a spring support system of hundreds of interconnected springs joined together to make a spring bed. The interconnected springs perform as a single system, rather than each spring operating independently like with pocket springs. They have a more traditional feel than a pocket sprung mattress and can have a firmer feel for those who prefer it. Whilst not as supportive as pocket springs, open coil mattresses provide the same comfort level and are more common within standard mattresses.
• Foam Fillings: Foam Fillings are common in many mattresses. Foam provides the firmness a mattress requires, providing the traditional feel. It enhances the comfort of the mattress and provides support. Foam encases spring fillings to prevent any springs from providing discomfort throughout the night. Foam tends to be quite breathable as well, keeping your bed feeling fresher for longer.
• Soft Knit Fabric: The fabric that wraps around the mattress can be just as important as the fillings. This mattress has been wrapped in luxuriously soft fabric that enhances the comfort of the mattress. Fabric around mattresses tends to be breathable and helps to keep your mattress feeling fresh and provides a more comfortable sleeping space during the night. It’s also incredibly hard-wearing and can provide that “new” look for longer.
• Micro Quilted: Micro-Quilted mattresses provide a sleeping surface with a much smoother and even finish. This is possible because the mattress either doesn’t require tufts or its design allows the tufts to be hidden. Quilted mattresses are no problem for open coil spring systems as the tufts aren’t needed due to the spring system being one complete unit.
• Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. Edge support is most common in mattresses that have coils with side support systems or foam mattresses that have extra foam structure on the sides.
• Side-Stitching:To help pro-long the life of the mattress, it is crafted as a turnable mattress and comes with side stitched borders that provide edge to edge support, preventing the sides of your mattress from sagging and keeping you feeling supported and comfortable in your bed.

This platform divan base provides a sturdy, reliable base for the mattress, constructed from solid and strong materials and timber wood for a robust and strong structure that adds durability. It creates a comfortable sleeping surface that prevents motion disturbance throughout the night. You can choose between wooden legs or chrome gliders for ease of movement when required, whilst protecting your wooden flooring from scratches or damage. The base has been upholstered in high quality fabric that can be ordered in a colour of your choice by using the options above, meaning you can choose the bed that suits your space the most. The matching headboard can be added using the options above, though alternatively you can find the full range of headboard styles by clicking here. This base comes with NO DRAWERS but a two drawer, four drawer or ottoman base is available elsewhere on our website. This divan base is delivered in two halves.
