The Apollo Dual Memory is a luxurious mattress that offers excellent comfort and support. The mattress consists of a 5cm layer of high quality visco-elastic memory foam on both sides of the mattress with a layer of 1500 pocket springs sandwiched in between ensuring the Dual Memory provides optimal support. The 1500 pocket springs work independently of one another to support each part of the body and give it the best support possible. The memory foam will mould to your body contours, increasing your comfort and allowing you to totally relax for a refreshing nights sleep. The Dual Memory is finished in a high quality micro-quilted damask cover and is a hypo-allergenic mattress.

Qualities of this mattress include:
• Pocket Springs: This mattress contains pocket springs. Pocket springs are individually wrapped springs that move together independently of each other, yielding to where pressure is most exerted and isolating movement, which differs from traditional open coil mattresses. Pocket springs are particularly great for providing pressure point relief as you sleep, dispelling any discomfort throughout the night and allowing for a deeper and more restful sleep. Additionally, they provide excellent support – ideal for those who require extra spinal support during the night.
• Memory Foam: Memory Foam is a type of foam that springs back to its original shape – even after long periods of use. Memory foam moulds to the natural counters of your body and provides excellent zonal support and pressure point relief. It can help with blood circulation throughout the night, allowing you to achieve a deeper and more restful sleep.
• Natural Fillings: Natural Fillings, such as silk, cashmere or wool are ideal for several reasons. Not only for the feel of the fillings but for the warmth and comfort. Natural fillings are also a better environmental choice for mattresses as they can decompose quicker at the end of your mattress life. Natural fillings are breathable too, which helps to keep your mattress feeling fresher for longer. Natural fillings also tend to be budget friendly, hypo-allergenic and chemical free (NB: not all natural fillings are chemical free).
• Hypo-Allergenic: Hypo-Allergenic mattresses tend to be filled with natural fillings, which help to fight against dust-mites, allergens and more. They can help dispel any allergy flare-ups throughout the night and tend to be mostly chemical free. • Damask Fabric: This is a woven fabric that will be on the majority of mattresses. It has become generally termed ‘Belgian damask’, even though many of the damask fabrics described are made outside of Belgium. Damask is soft to the touch, breathable and is flexible for the sleeper, meaning the upholstery fibres underneath can do their job and you get the highest level of comfort.
• Micro-Quilted: Micro-Quilted mattresses provide a sleeping surface with a much smoother and even finish. This is possible because the mattress either doesn’t require tufts or its design allows the tufts to be hidden. Quilted mattresses are no problem for open coil spring systems as the tufts aren’t needed due to the spring system being one complete unit.
• Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. Edge support is most common in mattresses that have coils with side support systems or foam mattresses that have extra foam structure on the sides.
