Briody Shepherds Dream is an excellently supportive mattress engineered in Ireland, oozing with luxurious comfort Shepherds Dream will allow you to peacefully 'dream' your night away! With a traditional Bonnell Spring Interior manufactured in-house, this mattress features a border rod that consistently provides optimum support to both the bonnell spring unit and the edge of the mattress for total edge to edge security. To compliment the bonnell unit Shepherds Dream includes a 80mm layer of Airbond mattress filling - offering back support and medium feel comfort - alongside a 10mm wool layer giving natural sumptuous comfort and a healthy sleep environment thanks to the breathable element of these two fillings.

Some of the qualities of this mattress include:
•Open Coil: An open coil mattress has a spring support system of hundreds of interconnected springs joined together to make a spring bed. The interconnected springs perform as a single system, rather than each spring operating independently like with pocket springs. They have a more traditional feel than a pocket sprung mattress and can have a firmer feel for those who prefer it. Whilst not as supportive as pocket springs, open coil mattresses provide the same comfort level and are more common within standard mattresses.
•Natural Fillings: Natural Fillings, such as silk, cashmere or wool are ideal for several reasons. Not only for the feel of the fillings but for the warmth and comfort. Natural fillings are also a better environmental choice for mattresses as they can decompose quicker at the end of your mattress life. Natural fillings are breathable too, which helps to keep your mattress feeling fresher for longer. Natural fillings also tend to be budget friendly, hypo-allergenic and chemical free (NB: not all natural fillings are chemical free).
•Foam Fillings: Foam Fillings are common in many mattresses. Foam provides the firmness a mattress requires, providing the traditional feel. It enhances the comfort of the mattress and provides support. Foam encases spring fillings to prevent any springs from providing discomfort throughout the night. Foam tends to be quite breathable as well, keeping your bed feeling fresher for longer.
•Hand-Tufted Top: A hand-tufted mattress can provide a firmer feel than a traditional quilted mattress. Tufts are often used to help keep mattress fillings together, helping to keep your mattress shape for longer and are particularly useful in pocket sprung mattresses. Better quality tufts actually have their hard plastic ends very well protected by felt or wool pompoms, meaning that the most people won’t be able to feel their presence.
•Soft Touch Fabric: The fabric that wraps around the mattress can be just as important as the fillings. This mattress has been wrapped in luxuriously soft fabric that enhances the comfort of the mattress. Fabric around mattresses tends to be breathable and helps to keep your mattress feeling fresh and provides a more comfortable sleeping space during the night. It’s also incredibly hard-wearing and can provide that “new” look for longer.
•Edge-To-Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. Edge support is most common in mattresses that have coils with side support systems or foam mattresses that have extra foam structure on the sides.

TWO DRAWER DIVAN
This bed comes as a standard divan bed. The base is constructed from solid and sturdy materials for a reliable and durable performance throughout the year, sitting upon chrome gliders to provide easy movement across the floor when required whilst minimizing damage done to the floor. This base comes with two drawers for extra storage, positioned two on one side of the single size and one on each side at the bottom of any other size. A non drawer or four drawer version is available elsewhere on our website.

This price DOES NOT INCLUDE A HEADBOARD, but you can use the options above to purchase the matching headboard as pictured. The headboard will come upholstered in the matching fabric of your choice as the base. Alternatively, you can find a large range of other headboards in our headboard section.
