Some of the qualities of the mattress include:
• Pocket Springs: This mattress contains pocket springs. Pocket springs are individually wrapped springs that move together independently of each other, yielding to where pressure is most exerted and isolating movement, which differs from traditional open coil mattresses. Pocket springs are particularly great for providing pressure point relief as you sleep, dispelling any discomfort throughout the night and allowing for a deeper and more restful sleep. Additionally, they provide excellent support – ideal for those who require extra spinal support during the night.
• Airflow Springs: The Ashton Mattress also has a layer of 2000 Posturfil HD Airflow Springs for extra conforming comfort, working with the pocket springs and memory foam to provide incredible pressure point relief, as well as allowing for more airflow throughout the mattress, keeping it feeling fresher for longer.
• Gel Infused Memory Foam: The Gel-Infused Memory Foam helps the pocket springs in providing incredible pressure point relief that will help you achieve a more undisturbed, refreshing night’s sleep, moulding to the contours of your body as you sleep but springing back to its original shape after use, helping to maintain the mattress shape for longer. The gel helps with temperature control as well, giving the mattress some cooling qualities to allow you to wake up feeling rejuvenated.
• Soft Knit REPREVE Fabric: The REPREVE fabric contains high-quality performance fibre made from 100% recycled materials, which gives the mattress it’s eco-friendly qualities and helps to conserve precious natural resources, reducing the global environmental footprint. It’s perfect for those who want to be more conscious of the environment!
• Micro-Quilted: Micro-Quilted mattresses provide a sleeping surface with a much smoother and even finish. This is possible because the mattress either doesn’t require tufts or its design allows the tufts to be hidden. Quilted mattresses are no problem for open coil spring systems as the tufts aren’t needed due to the spring system being one complete unit.
• Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. Edge support is most common in mattresses that have coils with side support systems or foam mattresses that have extra foam structure on the sides.

NON-DRAWER DIVAN
This base is a standard divan Urban base, which is available in a selection of 8 Graceland colours, which you can choose from above - pictured here in Graceland Silver. This base DOES NOT have drawers but a drawer option can be found elsewhere on our website. The base sits on chrome gliders which helps easy movement of the bed if required, but also keeps the base feeling stable and prevents unnecessary movement throughout the night. This price DOES NOT INCLUDE A HEADBOARD, but you can use the options above to purchase the matching headboard as pictured. The headboard will come upholstered in the matching fabric of your choice as the base. Alternatively, you can find a large range of other headboards in our headboard section. Please note: Images for for illustrative purposes only. Fabric colour may appear different than pictured. The headboard pictured WITH the divan bed is currently unavailable.
