The Edgar & Jones Therafirm Mattress, expertly hand made by craftsmen, offers a brilliant combination of comfort and support for an impressive nights rest! Manufactured using a 12.5G spring unit with wire frame a firmer consistent support is given from head to toe. Foam and polyester fillings are layered inside the mattress to compliment the supportive frame aswell as enhance the comfort qualities of the Therafirm. The Therafirm is complete with a quality knitted fabric and a high quality micro-quilt panel that adds a touch of luxury and softness. Air vents in the border compliment the mattress allowing air to circulate freely and the Therafirm to preserve a fresh feeling. The Therafirm is an efficient two-sided mattress that can be used on both sides. Four flag stitched handles are conveniently placed on the mattress border to allow easier turning which should be carried out regularly to maintain optimum support.

Qualities of this mattress include:
• Open Coil: An open coil mattress has a spring support system of hundreds of interconnected springs joined together to make a spring bed. The interconnected springs perform as a single system, rather than each spring operating independently like with pocket springs. They have a more traditional feel than a pocket sprung mattress and can have a firmer feel for those who prefer it. Whilst not as supportive as pocket springs, open coil mattresses provide the same comfort level and are more common within standard mattresses.
• Foam Fillings: Foam Fillings are common in many mattresses. Foam provides the firmness a mattress requires, providing the traditional feel.
