The Lilac Mattress from Respa is a charming mattress offering outstanding comfort and support with its impressive combination of fillings! With Respa's Respaform Pocket Spring System head to toe support is certain as the pocket springs react independently, adjusting to each unique body shape giving optimum support to every part of the body. Support is maximised with the addition of reflex foam, while fibre and polyester fillings give you that snug, cosy feeling of total comfort.

Some of the qualities of the mattress include:

• Pocket Springs: This mattress contains pocket springs. Pocket springs are individually wrapped springs that move together independently of each other, yielding to where pressure is most exerted and isolating movement, which differs from traditional open coil mattresses. Pocket springs are particularly great for providing pressure point relief as you sleep, dispelling any discomfort throughout the night and allowing for a deeper and more restful sleep. Additionally, they provide excellent support – ideal for those who require extra spinal support during the night.
• Reflex Foam: Reflex Foam mattresses are of high density and tend to offer medium firmness levels. Unlike other foam mattresses, reflex foam features air bubbles, as opposed to holes, to best maintain the shape of the mattress and offer improved body support. It is ideal for those who prefer a firmer feel of mattress and for spinal alignment assistance.
• Micro-Quilted: Micro-Quilted mattresses provide a sleeping surface with a much smoother and even finish. This is possible because the mattress either doesn’t require tufts or its design allows the tufts to be hidden. Quilted mattresses are no problem for open coil spring systems as the tufts aren’t needed due to the spring system being one complete unit.
• Soft Knit Fabric: The fabric that wraps around the mattress can be just as important as the fillings. This mattress has been wrapped in luxuriously soft fabric that enhances the comfort of the mattress. Fabric around mattresses tends to be breathable and helps to keep your mattress feeling fresh and provides a more comfortable sleeping space during the night. It’s also incredibly hard-wearing and can provide that “new” look for longer.
• Edge to Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. This bed comes as a standard divan bed with TWO DRAWERS. The base has been constructed from solid and strong materials and timber for a robust and sturdy structure that adds reliability and durability. You can choose between standard castors or chrome gliders for ease of movement when required, whilst protecting your wooden flooring from scratches or damage. The base has been upholstered in high quality fabric that can be ordered in a colour of your choice by using the options above, meaning you can choose the bed that suits your space the most. A headboard can also be added upon purchase by using the options above, with a choice between strutted or floor standing. However, you can also find a range of other headboard options in our headboard section. This base comes with TWO DRAWERS, positioned one on each side at the bottom of the base and ideal for storing clothing, spare linen, blankets and other light items.
