The Extreme 50 from Time Living is a medium firm memory foam mattress manufactured using a high standard of the most premium foams; providing extra support to the neck and back, whilst also offering real durability and comfort. This mattress can help with back & neck pain, pelvic & hip pain, arthritis and circulatory problems. This is an anti-dust mite and hypo-allergenic mattress. The Extreme 50 mattress is finished in a removable, washable quilted cover that helps extends the life of the mattress. The Extreme 50 mattress requires no turning and has passed the UK fire safety standards.

Qualities of this mattress include:
• Open Coil: An open coil mattress has a spring support system of hundreds of interconnected springs joined together to make a spring bed. The interconnected springs perform as a single system, rather than each spring operating independently like with pocket springs. They have a more traditional feel than a pocket sprung mattress and can have a firmer feel for those who prefer it. Whilst not as supportive as pocket springs, open coil mattresses provide the same comfort level and are more common within standard mattresses.
• Memory Foam: Memory Foam is a type of foam that springs back to its original shape – even after long periods of use. Memory foam moulds to the natural counters of your body and provides excellent zonal support and pressure point relief. It can help with blood circulation throughout the night, allowing you to achieve a deeper and more restful sleep.
• Reflex Foam: Reflex Foam mattresses are of high density and tend to offer medium firmness levels. Unlike other foam mattresses, reflex foam features air bubbles, as opposed to holes, to best maintain the shape of the mattress and offer improved body support. It is ideal for those who prefer a firmer feel of mattress and for spinal alignment assistance.
• Hypo-Allergenic: Hypo-Allergenic mattresses tend to be filled with natural fillings, which help to fight against dust-mites, allergens and more. They can help dispel any allergy flare-ups throughout the night and tend to be mostly chemical free. Additionally, they can provide a more breathable sleeping surface, helping to keep your mattress feeling fresher for longer. (NB: not all hypo-allergenic mattresses are chemical free).
• Damask Fabric: This is a woven fabric that will be on the majority of mattresses. It has become generally termed ‘Belgian damask’, even though many of the damask fabrics described are made outside of Belgium. Damask is soft to the touch, breathable and is flexible for the sleeper, meaning the upholstery fibres underneath can do their job and you get the highest level of comfort.
• Hand-Tufted: A hand-tufted mattress can provide a firmer feel than a traditional quilted mattress. Tufts are often used to help keep mattress fillings together, helping to keep your mattress shape for longer and are particularly useful in pocket sprung mattresses. Better quality tufts actually have their hard plastic ends very well protected by felt or wool pompoms, meaning that the most people won’t be able to feel their presence.
• Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. Edge support is most common in mattresses that have coils with side support systems or foam mattresses that have extra foam structure on the sides.

PLEASE NOTE: The mattress is delivered vacuum packed for delivery purposes we would suggest that you allow this mattress about 12 hours to come back to its original shape and another 12 hours for it to air.
