Designed with safety in mind the lower height of this mattress does not compromise on support as it is crafted with 1000 pocket springs that react independently of one another to give personalised support from head to toe. Finished with a quilted border and hypo-allergenic polyester fillings the Avalon Ortho offers relaxing comfort.

Some of the qualities of this mattress include:
• Pocket Sprung: This mattress contains pocket springs. Pocket springs are individually wrapped springs that move together independently of each other, yielding to where pressure is most exerted and isolating movement, which differs from traditional open coil mattresses. Pocket springs are particularly great for providing pressure point relief as you sleep, dispelling any discomfort throughout the night and allowing for a deeper and more restful sleep. Additionally, they provide excellent support – ideal for those who require extra spinal support during the night.
• Foam Fillings: Foam Fillings are common in many mattresses. Foam provides the firmness a mattress requires, providing the traditional feel. It enhances the comfort of the mattress and provides support. Foam encases spring fillings to prevent any springs from providing discomfort throughout the night.
